May 11 – May 24

Minecraft “Summer Fun”

Use these videos to help set up your Minecraft “summer fun” for the CIRC lesson for the week’s of May 11th through May 24th.

This lesson is in TWO parts. You must complete BOTH parts to be considered complete. All students will have two full weeks to complete this project.

Part 1

  1. Download the SummerFun.mcworld file. (See Video 1 below)
    • If your computer does not have Minecraft Education installed, download and install it from THIS LINK.
    • Choose the Recommended for your Device: Windows Desktop version.
    • Re-try step one once Minecraft has been installed.
  2. Re-create a favorite activity you are missing right now during this Physical Distancing world we live in today.
    • Examples:
      • Swimming
      • Soccer
      • Dance
      • Playing with Friends
      • etc…
  3. Take at least three pictures of your activity and label each picture. (See Video 3 below)

Part 2

Download the pictures you took using the Minecraft Portfolio. Use these links to upload your pictures to your CIRC teachers.

Creating Summer Fun

Saving Picture

This video shows students how to take three or more pictures of their Summer Fun activity and download the images to upload.

Uploading Picture

This video shows students how to upload your picture to the portal (links above).

This video helps students with some common troubleshooting tips.
